CARGO HOOK LIGHTS OPERATIONAL CHECK 9-23-3 INITIAL SETUP Applicable Configurations: References: TM 55-1520-240-23 With17 Aft C/W MWP 1-1520-240-50-52 TM 55-1520-240-10 Tools: Electrical Repairer’s Tool Kit, Equipment Condition: NSN 5180-00-323-4915 TM 55-1520-240-23: Multimeter Battery Connected Electrical Power On Materials: Hydraulic Power Off None Personnel Required Aircraft Electrician TASK 1. Check that cargo hook light circuit breaker is closed 2. Check switch marked “FWD” on cargo hook light switch box is pushed up to “ON” position. Indicator lamp above switch is lit. Forward cargo hook light is lit. 3. Check switch marked “CTR” on cargo hook light switch box is pushed up to ”ON” position. Indicator lamp above switch is lit. 4. Check switch marked “AFT” on cargo hook light switch box is pushed up to “ON” position. Indicator lamp above switch is lit. Aft cargo hook light is it. RESULTS If cargo light circuit breaker is open, close it. If it opens again, go to Task 9-23-4. If indicator lamp does light. Replace é327. If not lit after replacing lamp go to Task 9-23.6 If indicator lamp does not light replace é327. If not lit, after replacing lamp, go to Task 9-23.5. If center cargo hook light does not light, replace é327 lamp. If not lit, go to Task 9-23.6. If aft cargo hook light does not light, replace é327 lamp. If not lit after replacing lamp, go to Task 9-23.5. END OF TASK Change 14 9-379
