TM 55-1520-240-T 9-9.8 CENTER FLIGHT INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS OPERATIONAL CHECK 9-9.8 INITIAL SETUP References: Applicable Configurations: TM 55-1520-240-23 With 17 Equipment Condition: Tools: TM 55-1520-240-23: None Battery Connected Materials: Electrical Power On None Hydraulic Power Off Personnel Required: Center Flight Instrument Panel Lights Visual Check Aircraft Electrician Performed (Task 9-9.7) TASK RESULT 1. Check that LIGHTING CTR INSTR circuit breaker (1) is If CTR INSTR circuit breaker (1) is open, close it. If it closed. opens again, go to task 9-9.9. 2. Turn CTR INST lights control (2) from OFF through All instrument panel lights (3), FIRE EMERG panel (4) DIM to BRT. lights, CAUTION LTS/VHF ANT SEL panel (5) lights, and standby compass (6) lights, shall come on dim and increase in brightness as control (2) is turned to BRT. If any light is not lit, go to task 9-9.10. If brightness does not increase, replace CTR INST lights control. 3. Turn CTR INST lights control (2) to OFF. All center flight instrument panel lights shall go out. If not, replace CTR INST lights control.
