TM 55-1520-240-T10-3.4 SINGLE POINT PRESSURE REFUELING SYSTEM OPERATIONAL CHECK10-3.4INITIAL SETUPApplicable Configurations:AllTools:NoneMaterials:NonePersonnel Required:Medium Helicopter RepairerReferences:TM 55-1520-240-23Equipment Condition:TM 55-1520-240-23:Electrical Power OffBattery ConnectedHydraulic Power OffVisual Check of Single Point Pressure Refueling Sys-tem Performed (Task 10-3.3)TASKRESULT1.Make sure FUEL REFUEL circuit breaker(1) is closed.2.Set REFUEL STATION switch (2) to ON.3.Make sure LH REFUEL VALVE POSN and RH RE-FUEL VALVE POSN lights (3 and 4).4.Press and release LH REFUEL VALVE POSN and RHREFUEL VALVE POSN lights (3 and 4).5.Set PWR switch (5) to ON.6.Set LIGHT switch (7) to ON.7.Turn FUEL QTY SEL switch (9) through its positions.If circuit breaker (1) is open, dose it. If it opens again, goto Task 10-3.5.Both lights (3 and 4) shall be out If either light is on, go toTask 10-3.6.Both lights (3 and 4) shall momentarily come on. If eitherlight does not come on, go to Task 10-3.7.tight (6) shall come on. LH REFUEL VALVE POSN andRH REFUEL VALVE POSN lights (3 and 4) shall come onand go out. If light (6) does not come on, go to Task10-3.7. If either (3 or 4) does not come on, go to Task10-3.8. If either light comes on and stays on, go to Task10-3.9.Light (8) shall come on. If it does not, go to Task 10-3.10.Pointer on indicator (10) shall indicate fuel level in tankselected. If pointer does not move for any switch position,go to Task 8-13.18. If pointer indicates fuel amount for allbut one position, go to Task 8-13.19.TASKRESULTNOTEA small amount of fuel will continue to flowthrough me open primary and secondaryvalves wnen the refueling valve is dosed.8.Perform single point refueling of all tanks or individualIf fuel does not stop flowing within 4 seconds with ALLtank as required. Refer to TM 55-1520-240-23.TEST switch (11) at PRI OFF, stop refueling and go toTask 10-3.12.If fuel does not stop flowing within 4 seconds with ALLTEST switch (11) at SEC OFF, stop refueling and go toTask 10-3.13.If during initial single tank refueling procedures. fuelbegins flowing before tank is selected, stop refueling andgo to Task 10-3.12 or 10-3.13.If fuel does not flow in one or more tanks during singlepoint refueling, go to Task 10-3.14.On aircraft with,if fuel leaks from vacuum relief valve(12), remove and clean valve.
