This column identifies the lowest level ofmaintenance that requires the listed item.C - Operator/CrewU - Organizational Maintenancec. National Stock Number. This is the National,Stock Number assigned to the item; use it to request orrequisition the item.d. Description. Indicates the Federal item nameand if required, a description to identify the item. The lastline for each item indicates the Commercial andGovernment Entity (CAGE) in parenthesis followed by thepart number.e. Unit of Measure (U/M). Indicates the measureused in performing the actual maintenance function. Thismeasure is expressed by a two character alphabeticalabbreviation (e.g., in, pr). If the unit of measure differsfrom the unit of issue, requisition the lowest unit of issuethat will satisfy your requirements.D-1
