This manual is to be used by the instructor operator to train pilots (PLT) and/or copilots (CPLT) in normal andemergency flight techniques, and tactical maneuvers of the Chinook helicopter.1-3. GENERAL.1-4. The simulator consists of a cockpit (trainee station), with a six-degree of-freedom motion system and a visualsystem that simulates the natural helicopter environment. A central computer system controls the operation of thesimulator complex.1-5. The simulator provides normal and emergency procedural mission training, navigation instrument flight operation,and day, dusk and night visual flight operations.1-6. REPORTINGOFERRORS.1-7.
