TM 1-1520-240-MTF2-79IN-FLIGHT (CONT.) (1) BARO-ALT-ENGAGED.Note.ENGAGED switch lighted. Trim tolevel flight at a selected altitude. Thenwithout pressing the THRUST CONTmagnetic brake switch, increasealtitude by 75 feet by pulling against thebrake. Release THRUST CONT. Thehelicopter shall then return to theselected altitude within 25 feet, in nomore than 30 seconds. Repeat thisstep, reducing altitude 75 feet belowselected altitude. Release THRUSTCONT. The helicopter shall return asabove.(2) Press the BARO ALT ENGAGEDswitch to disengage altitude hold.k. DASH Actuator Low Rate Operation Check.(1) Trim helicopter at 100 knots.(2) Set the AFCS switch to either OFFposition. Check that both MASTERCAUTION and NO. 1 and NO. 2 AFCSOFF caution lights come on; then resetMASTER CAUTION lights.(3) Slow to 80 knots and trim the helicopter.(4) Set the AFCS switch to BOTH andcheck that both AFCS OFF cautionlights go out within 20 seconds.(5) Reset the AFCS switch to either OFFposition: and check that both MASTERCAUTION and AFCS OFF cautionlights come on.(6) Accelerate to 100 knots and trim thehelicopter.
