The first mode that will appearis “1N” (Normal Mode 1).2. P-PGM/CP-PGM/OPR switch — P-PGM orCP-PGM.3. ”PROG” blinking in display — Check. Verifythat a complete set of symbology is dis-played and attitude reference symbol isblinking. Verify “PGM” is displayed in theHUD FAIL message location for the DU notbeing programmed.4. BIT/ACK switch — ACK to program the fulldisplay or go to step 5 and select desiredsymbols.5. PGM SEL/NXT control — SEL to selectsymbol. Selected symbol stops blinking. Ifsymbol is not desired, toggle switch to NXTand the symbol will disappear.NOTEAll symbols have been programmed when the“PROG” annunciator is the only symbol flash-ing.6. BIT/ACK switch — ACK. (Hold switch toACK for one second.)7. ”OK” displayed — Check. (”OK” will bedisplayed for two seconds.)NOTEIf programming is not accepted, “FAIL” will bedisplayed.
