TM 1-1520-240-10 4-2-10 4-2-10. Ammunition. The M60D machine gun is used for M24 and M41 arma- ment subsystems. The ammunition for 7.62 mm machine gun M60D is classified as small arms ammunition and is issued in linked belts. Issue is in proportion by types to meet tactical requirements (table 4-2-2). Armament subsystem M41 is installed at the rear edge of the ramp. The mount has a pintle and post with limiting cam surfaces similar to those on armament subsystem M24 mount assembly.
