Control Interference.(1) Both sets of pedals (full aft) — Pilot andcopilot pedal adjustment lever maycontact the cockpit floor structure whenpedals are in the rearmost adjustmentposition and full pedal travel is made ineither left or right direction.NOTEThis contact is permissible provided the yawbellcrank in the first-stage mixing unit has alreadycontacted its stop.(2) The cyclic stick contact with the pedaladjust lever is also possible andpermissible with the above pedalconditions.(3) Reset pedals for flight.b. Pedal adjustment — Matched.c. Obtain neutral pedal measurement.d. Set cyclic to placard measurement. Ensureposition indicator is +1 in.e. Control Breakout Forces — (Refer toSection IV).NOTEIf the flight controls are moved erratically orrapidly, upper boost actuator stall (binding), and/orjam button extension may occur, and unusualvibrations may be felt.
