TM 1-1520-240-MTF4-241-36.1. Maximum Continuous Power(MCPC)/Maximum Power Check (MPC):a. Stabilize airspeed at 120 KIAS. with RRPM100%.b. Pilot’s or Copilot’s altimeter set to 29.92.c. Determine required minimum TRQ forMaximum Continous Power Check (MCPC)from figure 5-11. (not to exceed 123%) andthe maximum continuous N1 speed fromfigure 5-14 (Refer to Section V.) for MCPC.d. Determine required minimum TRQ forMaximum Power Check (MPC) from figure5-12. (not to exceed 123%) and themaximum N1 speed from figure 5-14 (Referto Section V.) for MPC.e. ENG COND lever of engine not beingchecked — Slowly retard towards GND untilthe predetermined minimum requiredtorque (from step c - above) is attained.Ensure that ENG PTIT for engine beingchecked does not exceed the MCPCtemperature limit from figure 5-13 (Refer toSection V.) or the maximum continuous N1speed. If MCPC temperature limit ormaximum continuous N1 speed is reachedpriortorequiredminimumTRQbeingattained, stop the PAC on this engine, andproceed to step j.f. Raise THRUST CONT lever once the ENGCOND lever is in the GND position, ifrequired, toobtain minimum TRQwhileensuring the maximum PTIT or maximumcontinuous N1 limits of figures 5-14 and5-13 respectively (Refer to Section V) arenot exceeded.
